Supported Languages

Subscribers of Noty.ai paid plans have the option to transcribe their calls in 18 languages in Google meet and English in Zoom.

Please, note that Zoom supports only English at the moment. 

 

You can change your default language in Settings or change language for a specific meeting before joining.

 

Set the default language of transcription in the Noty.ai app

Short Guideline:

Noty.ai app > Settings > Conversations. Click on the language in the Google Meet Section and choose another one in the drop-down.

1. Open Settings in the Noty.ai app and click on Conversations.
2. Scroll, if necessary, to Find Transcript Language. Click on the bar below.

Change transcription language during the call

If you do not want to change the default transcription language, you can change the language of a particular call.

Short guideline

Open the Google Meet call. In the Noty.ai widget click the language icon and choose the new one from the dropdown.

1. Open Google Meet call and find the Noty.ai widget (it is by default in the top-left corner).

2. Click on the language abbreviation. It will trigger a drop-down menu. Scroll to find the necessary language or type in the first letter of its name in the search bar:

 

Change transcription language during the call

To change the transcription language during the Google Meet call, you can either reload your Google Meet call or change the language of the captions.

If you reload the Google Meet call, you will be redirected to the pre-call page. There you can find the Noty.ai widget and change the language as described above.

 

 

How to change the language with Google Meet caption:

Click on 3 vertical dots -> Settings (in the context menu) -> Captions (in the pop-up) -> Language

You can access caption settings in two ways.

1. Click on the CC icon to turn on the captions.

2. If they are turned on, you might need to turn them off and on again to trigger an info bar that shows your current captions language. Click on it.

3. In the pop-up window with Captions settings click on the language to open the context menu.

4. Scroll up or down to find the language you need (they are listed in alphabetic order).



Hereโ€™s another way to get to the captions settings:


1. Click on More options at the bottom of the call screen (three vertical dots):

2. Scroll down in the context menu and click Settings.

3. The call settings will appear in the pop-up window.

4. Click on the Captions in the left menu bar and then select the language:
